How to Figure Out Which Social Media Platform Works For You?
Millenials are dominating when it comes to entrepreneurship and the social media/tech world. Every day people are getting discovered off social media.
Nowadays TV networks even pay close attention to potential clients numbers on social media instead of their talents. And don’t get discouraged about that because you can get discovered by social media but you really need to figure out your niche and which platform works for your brand.
I’ve used literally almost every social media platform and Instagram and my blog honestly are my strongest platforms. I know my audience, I know what they want and I give it to them.
I really studied over this past year, especially this summer that quality is better than quantity. I know tons of YouTubers who have millions of subscribers but only a few Instagram followers. I think overall it’s all about finding your way, figuring it out and if it works keep making it better.
Key things I’ve Learned About these platforms:
All About Visuals. Creating themes, being creative. Making your life speak through visuals.
Snapchat
Kylie Jenner nails the snapchat world with her business. She has her own way of showcasing her latest new lip kits, palettes and more. She makes you want to buy her product, even if you don’t support her. So truly just study her….lol!
Vulnerability! This site is all about being vulnerable, being relatable and speaking the truth. (Jada Pinkett Smith for Example)
Periscope/Instagram Live
Online social chatting. Letting people get to know you. Your followers asking you questions about yourself.
Ranting. Asking your followers’ questions. Memes! Politics! Social Media Engagement. Kim Kardashian used to nail this platform.
YouTube
Tutorials. Training. Consumers. Product Reviews. Social Media Engagement. Worldwide.
I think overall just find which platform works for you. Study your numbers. Study your social media engagement. You will figure it out. Every platform is not for everyone.
