The Beauty and the Curse of Social Media

It’s been awhile since I’ve done a 20’s Chronicles blog and this week since I’m back in writers mode I really wanted to take some time out and talk about my thoughts on social media.

There is a beauty and curse to this lifestyle and it must bee a balance when it comes to social media. I think how you use social media is truly important. I’ve always viewed social media as a positive platform. I’ve always found ways to communicate with strangers and people from all over the world. I think it’s also amazing to keep in touch with people from high school, college, and family members.

A few comments this past month have surfaced my page and I just wanted to reflect my thoughts on people and their comments. Negativity comes with this lifestyle especially the more your followers grow and the more you put yourself out there. I’m very open about my life and my struggles.

However, just because you think you may know me you really don’t. I think people should bee extremely careful on how they talk to others on social media. I view comments especially on The Shade Room and people are honestly miserable. People love bullying others behind a keyboard or phone. If you are that person, reevaluate your thoughts. Start spreading more love and positivity.
